We are in love! Erin Cox uses free motion applique to create numerous simple, whimsical designs. The projects are fun and easy. If you're anything like me, I love applique but I am not a very patient person so I have a hard time actually completing anything I have to do by hand. Seriously, everything in this book is just simply adorable.

My personal favorite is the last one with the "love birds." I'm already thinking up ideas incorporating Sweetwater's new First Crush fabric collection.

Sew Pro Staff Member Trisha MacQueen used Erin Cox's techniques and created this adorable Christmas mini with Holly's Tree Farm fabric by Sweetwater.
