A Few Things to Know Before You Pack Your Sewing Machine

Bedroom Access:
All bedrooms are located either upstairs or downstairs. There are no main-floor bedrooms, so be prepared for a few trips up and down the stairs between quilting sessions.

Dietary Preferences:
We do our best to offer a variety of delicious meals, but with a group of quilters, it's nearly impossible to accommodate every individual dietary preference or restriction. If you follow a special diet, we recommend bringing a few favorite snacks or supplemental foods to ensure you have plenty of options throughout the retreat. After all, nobody wants a hungry quilter—they're known to press seams the wrong way, miscut blocks or get feisty with the seam ripper.

Location: Bear River Lodge is located on Scenic Mirror Lake Highway, less than 2 hours from Salt Lake City, Utah. https://www.bearriverlodge.com/

Bonus Quilting Time:
The official retreat wraps up after dinner on Saturday, but if you're not quite ready to leave your sewing machine (or your new quilting friends), you're welcome to stay Saturday night at
no additional charge.

Some quilters prefer not to drive mountain roads after dark. Others are determined to finish "just one more row"... which somehow turns into three more hours of sewing.

Whatever your reason, enjoy one more cozy night at the lodge and squeeze in a little extra quilting time before heading home.

Check-out is by 10:00 AM on Sunday morning.
