Boy have we got a couple of CUTE collections arriving this month! Vintage Picnic by Bonnie and Camille is expected to arrive Saturday! The long anticipated wait is nearly over.
We are still anxiously waiting on a delivery date for Hometown Girl by Pat Sloan. This collection is absolutely charming and some lucky fabric lover is going to win a fat quarter bundle!
The fabrics have such a cute, small town, country feel to them. One of our favorites is this text print:
Eek! Love, Love, Love it, probably because I grew up in a little country town with a population of 4000 and this fabric just screams home to me.

I live in my hometown! So we live the wagon and sleigh rides with the team.
I lay in bed at night and can hear the train off in the distance. To this day no matter where I am…hearing a train off in the distance takes me back home.
I loved going to the ocean!
My Dad and I would lay out on the grass at night and look at the stars:)
Helping my Dad in his little corner grocery store on a Saturday evening. ??
I remember walking to the pond near our house and feeding the ducks… Then they’d follow us home.
I remember living in such a small and innocent town that we could ride our bikes every place we wanted to go. All our restaurants were Mom and Pop places, we could always hang out in the neighborhood, and our parents never had to worry about something happening to us!
I Grew up in a small town and you knew to go home to eat when you heard the town whistle blew!
The library with all the old oak paneling and musty dusty book smells is one of my best memories. The downstairs children’s and young adult section was ways so peaceful.
I remember every day after school before cheerleading practice we would walk to mc donals and get french fries. Then during cross country practice we would run in a beautiful neighborhood that had many lakes in it. I loved running around those lakes lined with trees.
I remember going every year to our town’s Arts in the Park and seeing true crafts that were made and being sold!
I’ve spent my entire life in my hometown (all 54 years)! My best memory is living across the street from a large public park with a swimming pool. Each day during the summer, one of the neighborhood moms would help several of us kids across the busy street so we could play all day in the park and go swimming! I feel sorry for kids today who don’t have that privilege to feel safe.
My hometown was small and everybody knew everybody. I lived on a farm not far from town but we didn’t get to shop very often with Mom but when we did getting to go to the Dairy Queen for ice cream was a big treat. The annual Rodeo in September was quite an event, the only time of the year to get cotton candy!

I remember having block parties every year in the town I grew up in. So much fun! Everyone bbq’d and the streets were blocked off! We played games and ride our bikes in the street memories!
When I was in 7th grade our junior high school was right in town. We were allowed to leave for lunch and we would go to Koon’s Bakery and get cream sticks. They were so good. Yum, yum what a good giveaway!!
Our library was small, but full of books and I just knew I was going to read every one! !
The annual 4th of July parade and picnic afterwards with the whole town. Everyone dressed in red, white and blue…so cute!
MY SISTER AND I WERE RAISED ON A WHEAT FARM IN THE MID WEST. EACH SPRING WOULD BRING NEW KITTENS TO OUR FARM. WHAT A DELIGHT TO US!
THANK YOU FOR A SWEET GIVEAWAY!
I remember walking to school and church and playing with friends in the neighborhood. You could walk to shops and I remember being able to get around easily-to walk to movies, etc.
