This fabric would be great for a mini quilt wall hanging I would like to make for my dining room. The yellow walls will be perfect with this fabric. So pretty! And there would probably be enough left for gift making!

Once the partners were divvied up, I found out that the friend I would be creating a mini for was Ayumi of Pink Penguin . After each block was made, I took the block, batting, and 5 inch square of backing fabric and put them right sides together and then stitched around the entire block leaving a 3 inch opening to turn the block right side out. Then I whip stitched the opening closed

This tent wasn’t exactly cheap to make, since I used 5 yards of lace and 5 yards of broadcloth, but you could easily find a more inexpensive fabric, or use a sheet like they suggested in the tutorial.
