I grew up on a farm, but going to “town” was a big deal where you changed from shorts in the summer, to something more appropriate to wear. Usually jeans or slacks for me! Lol no shorts were to be worn to town…..and this was in the 70’same! Lol
I remember riding my bike with my friends. We would ride to each other’s house and park our bikes out front. We all knew where our friends were by all of the bikes piled up at someone’s front door!
I am a small town girl and we played outside for hours at a time, neighbors and friends watching over us!! I love the fabric!! Thanks for the opportunity!!
Fireworks display on the river and the annual Fish Fry. Everyone was there, so much fun!
I remember walking to school every day. Rain or shine or sleet or snow. Luckily it was only a few blocks! :-)
I grew up in a very small town where everyone knew each other and as kids we could not get away with anything! Spent most of our time playing in the farm pastures.
I grew up in a small town where nobody locked their doors, and neighbors came to visit all the time.
I remember being picked as the ‘princess’ for our local village fete and riding on the float in a parade. I wore a cape and tiara and loved every minute of it !

I grew up in a small town where it felt like I knew everyone who lived there. I miss that!
