Rumor has it that many of you have been anxiously waiting for the arrival of Sweetwater's Volume ll! You are not alone! We are in love with this reproduction! How would you like to win a yard or two...or four? This month we are giving away yardage, not to only one of you, but to you and a friend! It's always more fun to sew with a friend, right? Two yards for you and two yards for your sewing buddy. You can mix and match by the 1/2 yard cut or you can choose 2 yards of the same.
To enter: Tell us who you sewing buddy is and why? How does he/she inspire you? I know you probably have a sewing posse that inspires you, but for giveaway purposes, it can only be split two ways. You can however, enter multiple times with different sewing buddies.
Also, visit us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to enter there too!
Ta ta for now! Happy sewing!!
My quilting/sewing buddy is my sister Gertie. She is a beautiful seamstress that always inspires and motivates me!
My sewing buddy is my mother- after all she’s had years of experience in sewing clothing (for six kids) and in quilt making as well.
How does she inspire me? For one, when she was 61 years old she completed a Dressmaking and Design class and passed with an A+ …but what’s MOST inspiring to me is that years later- after a radical mastectomy, open heart surgery, and a knee replacement- she’s still sewing.
My sewing buddy is Claudia. Sometimes we like to meet after work or on a weekend to sew for a bit. We encourage each other and get inspired and love to go ‘shop hopping’ together!
My sewing buddy is my husband. He knows how much I love to sew and encourages me all the time. Plus he enjoys seeing all of my creations.
My mother Cathy is my inspiration, not just in sewing but in almost every aspect of my life. There are times we disagree and I shake my head at her but I couldn’t fathom not having her help, advice and love everyday. I am blessed.
My sewing buddy is also my coworker… Sandra!!
My sewing buddy is my neighbor, Dora. She is 94 years old. I have learned a lot from her. She is a treasure.

My daughter is my sewing buddy. She keeps me challenged and up to date on all things quilting. Thanks.
My mom is my sewing buddy, she inspires me by sewing blankets for others who need them.
My sewing buddy is my sister-in-law. She is a beautiful seamstress and I have converted her into a quilter. We exchange text message and pictures all the time.
My best twin will use this for prayer quilts for all those young ones suffering!
Joanne Simpson is a best friend who shares my love of sewing and quilting. We are total opposites for fabric choices, usually. Volume II is one fabric line that I believe we could easily enjoy together. Thank you for the giveaway.
Cathie Scanlon is my quilting buddy. We love the same sewing machine, fabric lines and embroidery patterns. Thanks for the giveaway chance.
My bestie is Marti, she is my partner in crime for quilting. We talk daily about everything and mostly what fabric lines are hitting the streets.
Pamela Norton is always ready for a fun & inspiring chat about new quilt projects and chats about color choices. Fun!
One of my favorite Skype quilter friends is Arlene LeFlamme. We Skype quilted on Lori Holt’s Christmas quilt and each made 3 – 4. I would never have tackled this on my own without Arlene.
Patricia Metcalfe and I have Skype quilted and had a blast. So much fun and inspiration
I am inspited by Kim Hemker who is a long distance quilting friend. We are two peas in a pod.
Nathalie drove all the way from Csnada for a fabric exchange and quilt ideas. We plan on more get togethers & also online sessions.
