Rumor has it that many of you have been anxiously waiting for the arrival of Sweetwater's Volume ll! You are not alone! We are in love with this reproduction! How would you like to win a yard or two...or four? This month we are giving away yardage, not to only one of you, but to you and a friend! It's always more fun to sew with a friend, right? Two yards for you and two yards for your sewing buddy. You can mix and match by the 1/2 yard cut or you can choose 2 yards of the same.
To enter: Tell us who you sewing buddy is and why? How does he/she inspire you? I know you probably have a sewing posse that inspires you, but for giveaway purposes, it can only be split two ways. You can however, enter multiple times with different sewing buddies.

My main sewing buddy is Chris, a friend for 35 years. We get together and have so much fun, and she especially LOVES Sweetwater!
I have 2 quilting buddies, Bobbie and Rae. Rae is the best piecer and Bobbie is the best at free motion qulting. I like designing. Together we make a good team!

I have been waiting for this fabric line and would like to share it with my sewing buddy Sew At Home Mummy.
My sewing buddy is Sandra. We work together and spend our breaks in our makeshift studio at work. It is amazing what we can accomplish in 15 minutes.. quilting or preparing quilted pieces. Never does a day go by where we don’t Show and Sew something with each other!! I think that we would both love Sweetwater’s Volume II – it is a beautiful collection!!

My sewing buddy is my sister, Tammie. She can always find a new project for me and I trust her sense of color as it’s exactly opposite of mine. If she doesn’t like what I’ve picked out then it’s good to go for me.
My sewing buddy is my Daughter..who now lives in NC ( I am in Ohio,,) So we quilt together long-distance now…but she raids my stash whenever she is up here! lol (calls it shopping at MomMart! giggle…) She is such a talented Kiddo…we pick patterns & make them to “match” the tastes/styles of other! (trade when we can get together!)

A few weeks ago, while scrolling Instagram, I learned of “Sibling Together” a group that sews quilts for siblings in foster care who cannot be together year round. Every year a camp is held for these kids to reunite them for a week or so, and when they leave the kids each get a quilt. When I found out that the group was in England, I hesitated, as shipping a twin size quilt to England would br pricey. After a few back and forth messages, I found a quilting buddy who was willing to work with a bunch of my blocks, and is graciously finishing my quilt. She truly is a “quilting” buddy to me as I watch her progress on “our” quilt on IG.
My sister and her work are always an inspiration for me- she has amazing creativity!
Sewing Buddy is Foxy Barb; we found that we are great travelling companions and love to bounce ideas off each other.
My best sewing buddy was my Mom but she passed away last year….now I’ve been sewing with a sister-in-law. She inspires me to finish projects!

My DIL, Melissa. I’ve sewn forever but my daughters really weren’t that interested. Then my son married Melissa and we are kindred spirits. She got into quilting so fast and furious, I just follow her and love every minute.
My sewing buddy is Karlene. I met her 9 yrs. ago at a quilt show. I was admiring one of her amazing quilts and we started chatting. She is my inspiration, always challenging herself to do better.
My sewing buddy is Jo. She taught me how to sew a Communion dress for my daughter three years ago and we’ve been stitching friends ever since! Thanks Jo
